Christopher Kruegel

I am a Professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I am also involved in the International Secure Systems Lab. I was one of the co-founders of Lastline, Inc., which was acquired by VMware, Inc. in 2020 (and which was subsequently acquired by Broadcom in 2023). My research interests include most aspects of computer security, with an emphasis on malware analysis, web security, network security, and vulnerability analysis.
