About me

I am a Ph.D. student from the Computer Science Department at University of California, Santa Barbara. Currently I am working in the Vision Lab with Prof. Yuan-Fang Wang. My research interests are in the area of computer vision, deep learning and video analytics. Currently, my research focuses on detection and localization of actions and activities in long, untrimmed videos.

Prior to coming to UCSB, I received my B.S. degree from Dept. of Electronic Engineering in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. I did my bachelor thesis under the guidance of Prof. Xinbing Wang in the Institute of Wireless Communication and Technology(IWCT).

I am a self-learning landscape photographer. I love traveling, hiking, sightseeing, etc. which give me great opportunities to embrace the grandeur of nature and gorgeous city views. I'd like to keep those fresh memories in my camera and feel free to check them out at my Photography or Instagram.
