I am an Associate Teaching Professor at the Computer Science Department at UCSB. Prior to that I was an assistant adjunct professor in the CSE department at UC, San Diego. Before that I held positions as a lecturer and post-doc in the CSE department at UC San Diego. I received my M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego and my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science BITS, Pilani, Rajasthan.

I am the director of the CS UCSB Early Research Scholars Program and the co-director of the CS Undergraduate Learning Assistant Program . I have served as the chair of the undergraduate affairs committee for two academic years (2018-20).
