Dr. Ben Hardekopf is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science. Dr. Hardekopf joined the Department in 2009. His PhD is from the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include the  design, analysis and implementation of programming languages in general, and JavaScript and secure information flow in particular.

These days, he spends a lot of time gathering, mining and analyzing online social networks.

Adam Doupe

Adam Doupe is a graduating PhD student in the UCSB Computer Science Department. Adam spent a total of nine years at UCSB first in the CS BS/MS program and now in the PhD program. In between his MS and PhD, Adam spent a year at Microsoft as a full-time developer. Currently, Adam works in the Computer Security lab with Giovanni Vigna and Christopher Kruegel. Adam researches ways to hack websites and to protect websites from hackers.
