Every CS 50 student must complete this survey form and send it to the instructor once, to become a member of a group for the group project.

Your answers to the following items will be used to help form groups for the programming project. They will remain confidential - just the instructor and TAs will read them. Please provide careful and honest answers, and do not skip any items. Then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom - first to verify your responses, then to send them to the instructor after your verification is complete.

Programming Experience. Briefly describe your experience with object-oriented programming in general, and particularly in Java.

Also:
- If you completed CS 20 at UCSB, say how difficult it would be for you to complete an average CS 20 programming project now (very difficult, difficult, routine, easy, very easy).
- Otherwise, say how you learned Java, and estimate how difficult it would be for you to complete a mid-sized programming project of about 400 lines in Java (very difficult, difficult, routine, easy, very easy).

Java Programming Confidence. Do you feel that you are as competent as most of your peers in Java programming? Briefly explain your answer.

Group Project Experience. Describe your experience, if any, working as a member of a group to complete a project (whether programming or not). Do you consider yourself a good leader, or a good follower, or both, or neither? Why?

Commitment to CS 50. Are you fully committed to completing CS 50 this quarter? That is, say how likely it is that you will remain enrolled all quarter and actively participate in completing the group project.
