Start the BeatBox from Chapter 13 of HFJ.
Note: you may get a warning that files of this type can harm you computer. That's because you are indeed downloading an application from the internet. So if you get something like this, you'll need to click "save", or "open", or whatever:
You may also need to open the .jnlp file that was downloaded with the Java Web Start program, which is part of the standard JRE or JDK 1.6 for your platform, which you can typically find here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads.
If a window like the one below from p.418 of the text pops up (minus the little musical notes), you've successfully launched the program. If that happens, try clicking a few boxes, and then clicking start. You should hear stuff through your speakers.
To change the beat, you have to click stop and then start again. (Fixing that bug is one of the programming assignments we might tackle.)
