Scaling Distributed Software on a Snowy Evening
By Selene Makarios (with apologies to Robert Frost)

Whose app this is I think I know.
He's soundly vex'd by DCOM, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To simplify, with tuple-flow.

My little app must think it queer
Persisting with no DB near;
Coordination, once opaque,
In tuplespace is now so clear.

It gives the API a shake
To ask if there is some mistake!
The only other sound's the peep
Of read-scan, write, perhaps a take.

His source was tangled, dark, and deep,
But mine has leapt a quantum leap,
My app is done, now I can sleep,
My app is done, now I can sleep.
